SupHerb Common Thistle, 60 Capsules

SupHerb Common Thistle, 60 Capsules

SupHerb Common Thistle is a herbal supplement in capsule form. It uses Silybum marianum, a plant also called milk thistle. The amber bottle holds 60 capsules.

What the label shows

The bottle and the box are green with a dark green band that reads Herbs in Hebrew. The front names the Common Thistle. A line below says the capsules contain thistle extract. A count of 60 capsules is printed at the bottom. A kosher seal appears on the bottle and on the box. The seal is too small in the photo to name its authority.

The bottle is amber glass with a black screw cap. The box is a slim carton that stands upright on a shelf. Both carry the SupHerb name in tall dark green letters. The box side panel holds a supplement facts block in Hebrew and English.

Facts at a glance

The box side panel appears to list these amounts per capsule:

• Silybum marianum powder: 300 mg
• Silybum marianum herb extract (80% silymarin): 150 mg
• Capsule weight: 600 mg
• Pack size: 60 capsules
• Suggested use on the box: 1 capsule daily with a meal

The photo is small, so check these figures against your own box. The box lists the other ingredients.

How to take it

The box suggests one capsule a day with a meal. One bottle then lasts 60 days. Please follow the directions printed on your box. Store the bottle in a cool and dry place.

Good to know

Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied diet. Pregnant or nursing women, children, and anyone on prescription medication should ask their physician first. Keep the bottle out of reach of children.
