These mint lozenges are a pharmacy medicine made by Rafa Laboratories. Each lozenge dissolves slowly in the mouth and acts locally on the throat. They ease severe sore throat pain and help with mouth and throat infections. The cooling mint taste makes them easy to take. They are intended for adults and children aged 12 and over.

Active Ingredients

Each lozenge contains cetylpyridinium chloride 1.25 mg and lidocaine hydrochloride 1 mg. Cetylpyridinium chloride is an antiseptic. Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic. The lozenges also contain xylitol, cellulose, citric acid, povidone, magnesium stearate, frescofort mint flavor, and Novochrom B green colorant.

Directions for Use

Suck one lozenge slowly. Do not chew it or swallow it whole. Take one lozenge every three to four hours, as needed. Do not take more than six lozenges in 24 hours. Leave at least two hours between lozenges. Do not eat or drink while your mouth still feels numb. Do not use for more than three days without asking a doctor.

Packaging and Storage

Each box contains 24 lozenges. Store the box in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.

Who Can Use Them

These lozenges are for adults and children aged 12 and over. They are not suitable for children under 12. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. See a doctor if your symptoms last more than three days or get worse.
