These strawberry sore throat lozenges are a pharmacy medicine made by Rafa Laboratories. Each lozenge dissolves slowly in the mouth and acts locally on the throat. Active Ingredients

Each lozenge contains cetylpyridinium chloride 1.25 mg and lidocaine hydrochloride 1 mg. Cetylpyridinium chloride is an antiseptic. Lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic. The lozenges also contain xylitol, cellulose, citric acid, povidone, magnesium stearate, strawberry flavor, and the color Ponceau 4R.

Directions for Use

Suck one lozenge slowly. Do not chew it or swallow it whole. Take one lozenge every three to four hours, as needed. Do not take more than six lozenges in 24 hours. Leave at least two hours between lozenges. Do not eat or drink while your mouth still feels numb. Do not use for more than three days without asking a doctor.

Who Can Use Them

These lozenges are for adults and children aged 12 and over. They are not suitable for children under 12. Ask your doctor or pharmacist before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Ask a pharmacist if you take other medicines. Follow the directions on the packaging.
