Spirulina, a super-algae combined with bacteria - and precisely cyanobacteria, is an ancient algae from the blue-green algae family that grows in fresh and saltwater.
Originally from Mexico and Lake Chad in Africa, it is now grown all over the world.
Microscopic algae, which contains ancient knowledge among its coils, got its name because of its spiral shape, a very simple life form, and yet unusually durable.
The spirulina really survives even in a state of dryness, without water, the acceleration goes into a state of coma until proper conditions for its growth are created again, in addition to heat resistance that can reach up to 70 degrees Celsius.
No wonder for millions of years the spiral little one has stubbornly adorned the lakes and rivers in our world.
A tiny powerhouse of photosynthesis contains an abundance of rich and essential compounds that have nourished many generations of life on earth and gives us even today the option to receive deep nourishment and optimal absorption from such a pure source if chosen.
Acceleration nature:
The spirulina has a deep green turquoise pigment, which can respectfully replace any strong blue food color that is on the market today.
Smell salty and dense and reminiscent of a rich aroma of vegetable soup that is scattered throughout the house on a rainy and wintry day.
The taste of spirulina is ‘green’, salty, and refreshing and when consumed in the form of flakes or chips, crunchy texture, it is very tasty on its own and experientially enriches any food that is added to it.
It is special and prominent and definitely sets the tone as an addition until it can not actually be called an addition. You could say that it quite 'steals' the show.
Nutritional values:
Spirulina algae contain a very high amount of protein, between 60% and 70%, of the "complete protein" type, which contains the
18 amino acids, including the 8 essential amino acids.
Rich in antioxidants, photosynthetic pigments such as chlorophyll and phycocyanin, zeaxanthin, beta carotene, and more.
Contains many vitamins (A E, C, B3, B2, B1, and K).
Minerals and trace elements (calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium).
Omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids.
