It is produced by cold pressing from the evening primrose plant's seeds, which are rich in an essential and polyunsaturated fatty acid called GLA (gamma-linolenic acid).

The product contains an effective dose of 1,300 mg in one capsule. It comes in a glass jar that protects against oxidation of the fatty acids due to existing environmental conditions of light, moisture, and heat.
