The product is based on the international patent US10154961B2, which was developed in the laboratories of Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
The oil in the Nano Guard Omega-3 supplement contains an exceptionally concentrated dose of EPA-DHA acids (from an anchovy source), resulting in a high concentration in the capsules. 

From the moment the oil is received until the capsules are produced, it is kept under an oxygen-free (nitrogen) atmosphere, which prevents the formation of peroxides (resulting from the oxidation of the double bonds and spoilage of the oil).

The capsules' shells comprise protein (derived from tilapia fish) that protects the product from oxidation; the shell's flexibility allows for easy swallowing and rapid enzymatic breakdown.
