KAMEDIS PSO SKIN Body Cream 100 ml

This body cream for flaky skin is a rich cream for dry, red, and scaly-looking skin.

The tube holds 100 ml. The texture is thick and takes a moment to sink in.

It suits rough, flaking patches on the body, such as elbows, knees and shins.

What the Formula Contains

KAMEDIS builds this ceramide body cream around four plant extracts and a lipid blend:

  • Indigofera Tinctoria (indigo) and Rheum Palmatum (rhubarb) Extracts
  • Portulaca Oleracea (purslane) and Glycyrrhiza Glabra (licorice) Root Extracts
  • Ceramides NP, AP and EOP with Phytosphingosine and Cholesterol
  • Hyaluronic Acid with Glycerin and Lactic Acid
  • Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii), Petrolatum and Mineral Oil
  • Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

The manufacturer lists it as free of steroids, parabens, SLS, and added color. The formula does contain fragrance and a lanolin derivative. The full ingredient list is printed on the box.

How to Use This Body Cream for Flaky Skin

Apply to dry, scaly, or reddened areas one to three times a day. Massage in until it is absorbed.

KAMEDIS lists it as suitable for ages 6 months and up. For children up to age 3, apply it once a day.

A patch test the day before first use is sensible on reactive skin.

Why a Ceramide Body Cream?

Ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids are the lipids that sit between skin cells. Adding them alongside glycerin helps skin hold water longer.
