NIACIN is a form of vitamin B3, part of the B vitamin family.

Vitamin B3 performs many beneficial functions in the body. It is essential for the functioning of the digestive system, normal metabolism, and energy metabolism, including cholesterol, carbohydrate, and protein levels.

Niacin also contributes to the health of the nervous system, eyes, skin, and hair.
B3 is water-soluble and easily absorbed when taken orally.

The body needs niacin to function correctly, but the amounts vary according to age, gender, and medical condition. It can be found in a wide variety of foods, as well as in vitamin B complex and multivitamin nutritional supplements.
